Step 2 - Preparation + Strategy Calls

Using my Website Preparation Workbook, you will craft your unique website concept. Then we get together for a 45-minute pre-project strategy session, where I help you refine copy and branding (1 round of revisions on copy and 1 round of revisions on branding included).

Step 4 - We create your website

On your selected VIP day, watch as I meticulously create your website, translating your vision into reality with precision. If any tasks remain incomplete on that day, I’ll finalize them within the next 2-3 days to ensure seamless alignment. You’ll have 1 round of revisions available during the website development process.

And then we launch your Simple but Mighty Website! (cue the confetti!) 🎉

You will have 15 days after website launch to test everything out and ask any questions you have. (In case you need more changes after launch, you can book a package of hours at a discounted rate only available to past clients)

We use WordPress and the Divi theme because they provide a solid foundation to build an online business.

You will have a website that you can build upon, plus instructions on how to update your own site whenever you need to (maintenance packages are available upon request).

FAQ’s

What do you mean by “high converting website”?

What I mean by that is a website that is designed for the visitor to stay on the website and take the action you want them to take. For instance, if you want them to sign-up for a freebie, or to book your services, those are conversions. I follow the Storybrand Method to ensure that the website has a good flow and also good design practices for the website to be aesthetically pleasing and clean, which are also important factors for conversion.

What additional costs will I have for my website?

Besides the website package fee, you will need:

A domain = around $10/year with namecheap.com
Hosting = around $80/year with Siteground (I can also host your website on my own servers, we can discuss that option during a consultation).

If you need any premium plugins, we will talk about it, but I mainly work with free plugins (which are like apps for your website)

The beauty of it is that you get a Divi license from me (FREE forever. Value=$80/year or $250/lifetime license fee)

Do you transfer my website to me when we are done?

(Yes, believe it or not, I’ve heard clients tell me horror stories about designers running away with their websites and years of content)

Your website will be on your own hosting account, and you will be an administrator on your WordPress dashboard. So yes, your website belongs 100% to you, my only job is to create it for you.

Do you take care of my SEO?

SEO depends on many factors. For instance: the technical part and the content part. I will for sure take care of the technical part for you – using the right HTML structure (H1/H2/H3 etc.), naming the images for SEO purposes, reducing their size and using the Yoast SEO plugin for descriptions and featured image, etc. Also very important is the choice of hosting. I use and recommend Siteground, and if you sign up with me, you can get a discount through my affiliate link. This ensures that you get a very fast, reliable and secure website, which are the 3 things Google loves the most. I also do initial keyword research for your type of business, and include those keywords throughout the website.

For the content part, that will depend on the quality of content you create for your audience. For this, I recommend adding a blog to your website over time. I cannot guarantee that you will get on the first page of Google immediately BUT I can make sure that your page is created SEO-ready out of the gate, so you will gain traction with Google as you expand your content.

What if I’m in a different time zone than you?

No problem, I have experience working through different time zones. I am in Germany, which is CET (Central European Time). For instance, if you are in a US timezone like PST, we would set up any meetings in the morning of your time/evening my time. Otherwise, I will work independently and send you links and screenshots via any messaging system we choose, that you will approve in a timely manner, so that we can complete your website on time.

Interesting fact: As you can see on my portfolio, 90% of my clients are US based, many of them on the West Coast. So yes, we can make this work for your time zone.

Will you set up the systems I need for my website like Acuity, Calendly, Mailchimp, or ConvertKit?

No, this is not in the scope of website design. I can guide you through links to tutorials and how-to’s, give you pointers and do all I can to make it easier for you, but I will not personally set up those accounts for you. But, I WILL connect those tools to your website so you can do things like build your e-mail list and book new clients.
